Frequently Asked Questions

General Questions

It is plant-based food (soups, porridges, pancakes, salads, drinks) enriched with ZOE.

ZOE is most effective with plant-based food.

Make probiotic food simply by adding ZOE to:

* drinking water, juices, compote;

* heat-treated but cooled plant-based food (soups, stews, porridges, pancakes, etc.). This can be eaten immediately;

* raw, unheated food (mixed salads, green salads, blended fruit desserts, etc.). It is recommended to wait a bit before eating such food, preferably after a few hours of fermentation – then the products become especially tasty and fragrant.

The difference is that probiotic food is plant-based food enriched with ZOE – live beneficial bacteria. Both raw and heat-treated plant-based food are perfectly digested (processed and fermented) by these good bacteria. As they multiply in plant-based food, they synthesize everything the human body needs – proteins, vitamins, and all other essential nutrients free of toxins and waste.

For many beginner users, the smell and taste of ZOE can be unpleasant, especially the smell. A logical question arises – does the manufacturer not want or not know how to make ZOE without a strong sourdough smell? Let’s consider – every fermented product, even cabbage, has its own distinct smell because these products are NATURAL, and in nature, fermentation odors are inherent. The fermentation medium, saturated with live bacteria, causes these smells. Any claims that fermented products can be odorless are doubtful, and if a ferment lacks the natural fermentation smell, its quality is questionable. ZOE is a probiotic drink CONCENTRATE, so the product has a stronger sourdough smell than usual.

Other uses

ZOE layers in an undisturbed container – this is a sign of deep fermentation. The clear liquid formed on top is the most effective to use for inhalations.

It is best to use a compressor nebulizer (one that blows air when turned on empty).

Pour 2–3 grams of pure ZOE into the nebulizer (if you don’t have settled clear liquid, you can strain it beforehand). It is recommended to inhale at least twice a day for 5–10 minutes each time.

You can use ZOE by applying it to the skin and wounds. You can make hair masks, preferably diluting ZOE with baking soda and using it instead of shampoo. After leaving it on for a few minutes, rinse with water.

Diluted with water, ZOE can be used to fertilize houseplants, cultivated vegetables, and herbs. A great natural remedy for your garden and vegetable patch.

Delight your pets by sprinkling their food with ZOE.

Storage

When not in use, it is best to store ZOE bottles in the refrigerator or another cool place (e.g., a cellar), away from direct light sources and sunlight.

It is best to store an opened bottle of ZOE in the refrigerator with the cap loosely screwed on. If used daily, it can also be kept at room temperature. In a warmer environment, the bacteria will be more active, but don’t overdo it – if exposed to too much heat or direct sunlight, the bacteria may start to “blow up” the sealed bottle.

If the taste is sour, it means everything is fine. Remember, ZOE is not a sourdough but a sourdough concentrate, so after shaking it following a long storage, it is natural to notice a stronger smell. Simply keep the bottle open for a while, and the strong odor will disappear. Shake ZOE before use.
